Greater Manchester Pathfinder Walking Guide book contains of 28 excellent walks catered to a range of abilities.

A variety of 28 walks around open green spaces, river valleys and canal towpaths. Including the moorlands of the West and South Pennine and Peak District.

All of the walks are reachable by public transport whether via train, tram or bus services. Details of the stations and stops needed are given in each walk information panel. Pubs and cafes are highlighted along the routes.

With ten shorter and easier routes in the first ‘green’ chapter. A further ten more half-day ‘blue’ walks. Then finishing with eight longer outings in the ‘orange’ chapter there is a hike suited to everyone.
